    I have been overall pleased with my purchases, and one purchase at around£300 was valued at over £1300.     Re - 2.83ct Rose De France Amethyst Sterling Silver Earrings I am a new customer to Gems TV and although this only cost me £20.00, cheap lesson. Having understood the deal that if I opened the seal on the earrings I cannot return them, I am not asking to return them, but FYI the colour is dull, the sparkle is non existent.     Firstly I have never seen such pathetic false excitement that the presenters try to convey-all the stumbling over words and 'oh my goodness' squeals that those women do is quite laughable.     I have tried buying from Gems TV and as a qualified jeweller know how poor their jewellery is are and how awfully cheap they look. I bought a very expensive ring for a girlfriend's birthday, it was very embarrassing as she couldn't wear it for her party as a diamond had fallen out.     I am so upset with this company. Poor, poor quality of jewelry ( I even can not believe that some people could be satisfied with such things) but the worth is their refunds for returns.     I purchased a pariba tourmaline in white gold in 2006 costing appx £1119.     Disgusted with Gems UK (Gemporia.com) recently. There pieces are of very poor quality. Forever returning pieces where stones have fell out or lost there sparkle and lustre.     Imagine my shock to find emails addressed to another person on my email account detailing all the expenditure they were racking up on gems tv over the bank holiday weekend.     I purchased a chain from Gems TV and they sent the wrong item. I sent it back well with in the 30 day return window. They sent the same chain back to me and are now claiming it is not a Gems TV item and will not refund. I have called and all they say is they will get back to me.     Gemstv shipped to the wrong address. Asked me to go to the old address and retreive the package (UPS left it on the door step).     I purchased A Morganite Ring From GemsTV. I asked the phone Rep to send the ring in a size 8 as that is what I wear. They told me they couldn't do that.     I have purchased over $3,000.00 from Gems TV and returned nearly half due to poor quality. Often gems have much lighter color and clarity than shown on TV, several have had very poor faceting. Most rings have skinny little wimpy bands that the presenters say are "average in metal weight" (3 grams) even though most rings in any other store are twice as big. The clasps on sterling earrings are flimsy and bend so easily that they will need to be replaced after minimal use.     I will NEVER shop at gems tv again. They have horrible customer service! They refused to return my money for 2 rings that I bought, but returned back to them. The presenters always encourage you to do your Christmas shopping in advance, buy things when you see a good deal and "put them away" for later gifts.     I can't begin to tell you the frustration in dealing with Gems TV, especially with the Customer Service Team Lead. I have a legitimate request to receive reimbursement for my shipping and handling on returned defective items, but I am being refused this refund. On the Gems TV broadcast, they continuously promote the "30 Day Money Back Guarantee, return for ANY reason, and their risk free shopping".
