Firstly I have never seen such pathetic false excitement that the presenters try to convey-all the stumbling over words and 'oh my goodness' squeals that those women do is quite laughable. Anyway for my sins I have been enticed into buying a few times-years ago I bought three beaded necklaces that they used to do on frayed cords. One was apatite beads that looked huge on screen and were tiny in reality and the others, moonstone and garnet. Well unfortunately one of them was delivered whilst I was on holiday and I was out of time to return it when I got back. The 'value' was supposed to be £300 but I had it valued and was told it was probably worth £30! I had paid £95. I should have learned my lesson but proceeded to buy a ring that again looked huge on screen but turned out to look much smaller. I had the ring delivered to the wrong address 3 times!! I rang to explain to them that this needed to be sorted out and I have never encountered such rude and cocky staff. I was so incensed at all the hassle and rudeness that I wrote to Steve Bennett who failed to reply-it was sent recorded delivery for his attention. There is a lot more to the story-I waited in for a whole day once as they swore my ring would arrive and it didn't-no apology just rudeness again. Terrible attitude and although the crappy necklaces I bought were a big product line they did several years ago- I gave them the benefit one more time recently and bought a diamond ring that the presenter said could 'definitely be re-sized' on air several times. I took it to 3 jewellers and all said that it was not possible with that ring. I returned it and of course lost out on postage both ways. I think I have finally learned my lesson with that channel and their rude and arrogant call centre staff that sounds as if you are just a nuisance. When I finally cracked on one call and said I would not shop with them again-the woman said 'fine-your choice' and hung up. Buyer beware.
